Herb Lecture:
I spoke about growing, using, and preserving the harvest of culinary herbs at Crabtree Farms Spring Plant Sale. We had a very interested audience. They asked a lot of questions about the plants that were on Crabtree Farms Plant sale list, as well as other plants, and their gardens.
John and I enjoyed meeting people at the Farm and in the audience. We always enjoy our visits at Crabtree Farms, and learn interesting tidbits ourselves.
For those of you interested in joining a CSA, there is information on their website, http://www.crabtreefarms.org, about joining. We don’t have a CSA here on our farm. But we will do an Herb of the Month program or gift certificate. Ask us about our Mother’s Day specials.  We also have fruit bushes, vegetable plants and perennials.
This weekend, some of us are going to be in Etowah at the Hunting and Fishing Expo, Saturday and Sunday, May 1 and 2, and we will also be here on our Farm, continuing with our plants for sale at the Greenhouse, antiques, etc in the shop, and also the foal watch.
More about that event in a moment.
